A limited addition, collection “The Dance of Colours” completes the series of naturally dyed and eco printed silk pillowcases I made this year. Natural silk is a healthy choice for your skin and hair, and you can be sure that there are no other items like this exists!
Natural dyes for this collection were derived from eucalyptus flowers, onion skins, marigold flowers, madder root, sappanwood, and chlorophyll. Botanically hand printed pillowcases match this dedicate colour scheme of soft green, yellow, orange and pink. For contact printing, a range of natural substances and locally available plant materials were used, including two types of eucalyptus leaves, casuarina, onion skins, marigold flowers, madder root, sappanwood, poinsettia, rose leaves, coreopsis and chrysanthemum flowers.
