Eco printing on fabrics is an exciting and elaborate process which involves a number of steps, including scouring and mordanting the fabric, creating design, steaming the bundle, curing, and, finally, washing and ironing the finished piece.
In eco printing, I work only with plant based dyes and natural fabrics like cotton, silk, wool and linen. Plant material, collected locally is tested for quality of imprints before it can be used in my eco printing projects.
